ECO3 has unveiled the future of aqueous flexo platemaking at Labelexpo Europe, the company says. ECO3 has premiered the MAGIS PRO-Eco 300+, a next-generation, all-in-one aqueous processor that combines LED exposure, washout, drying, and finishing in a compact, efficient unit.

The MAGIS PRO-Eco 300+ is designed to make sustainable platemaking simpler and faster. Its integrated workflow is intended to simplify daily operation, reduce manual steps, and support a more efficient production process.

With LED UV exposure, it avoids the warm-up delays of traditional lamps, lowers energy needs, and provides more stable operation. The steady, uniform output of LED ensures consistent plate quality across jobs while eliminating the hassle of frequent lamp changes and recalibrations.

Tailored for label and narrow web converters as well as repro houses, it offers a practical path to solvent-free platemaking. Unlike thermal systems, this approach combines aqueous processing with ECO3’s Dry-Film-Lamination technology, ensuring the consistency, detail, and reliability that flexo production demands.
